Roger’s bowling got into full swing, and he spent
many hours on the green, for matches, marking and mowing. There were club fun days on the two May Bank
Holiday Mondays.
The weather continued generally cool for the time of year,
though we had one very warm weekend, when we were able to get the barbecue out
for the first time (on Saturday 22).

We voted in the General Election (in the new village
hall) on Thursday 6, though the result in this constituency is always a
foregone conclusion.
Jay had her final examinations, which would be
assessed together with the modules and course work completed over the last
year, before the results are published in June.
