Roger
visited the doctor again on Monday 4, and was prescribed antibiotics, which
after a few days alleviated the worst of his symptoms. By the end of the month he was able to get
out again with appropriate planning and precautions. But he was also referred to a specialist for
further investigation of the underlying problem.
Last year Roger agreed to do
the next Overbury Bowls Club quiz, which was to be on Friday 15. With Teresa and Jay’s help, he had assembled
the questions, but it looked for a long time as if someone else would have to
be asked to present it. Luckily, just in
time, Roger felt able to go through with it, with only minor problems on the
night. Similarly, by the end of the
month, he managed to resume bowling.
Nevertheless,
a quiet month for us, though Teresa continued to visit
