Teresa always prepares
early for Christmas, with most of the presents and food supplies bought or
ordered long before the event.
However, the first visible signs don’t appear until nearer the time. The tree, for example, was bought on Friday
12 and brought into the house and decorated the following week. Early signs around the house, from left to
right below, were the camel guarding the stairs, the advent calendar and
crackers on the desk and a crib scene in the hall. |

for our Christmas Eve meal – steak en croûte for Roger and Teresa, duck for
the girls

and Teresa, while we listened to the service of carols from King’s on the

made a further appearance before the special chocolate dessert for Roger and
the girls, and Christmas pudding for Teresa It was then into the
sitting room for the presents |
