The Tour of Britain cycle race passed through Toddington on Saturday 9.  Luckily the roads were closed shortly after Roger needed to depart for his last competitive bowls match of the season.

 

 

Overbury Bowling Club closed its green for the winter on Sunday 17:  a fine sunny afternoon saw some 40 bowlers playing in a roll-up, followed by a bring-and-share tea and the presentation of the club competitions prizes, presented by the Club President, Mrs Penelope Bossom.

On Thursday 28 we took our free ride (as members) on the near-by GWR.  We were hauled by Foremarke Hall, recently returned to service at Toddington after its 10-year overhaul.
