November

Teresa felt very much better.  At an appointment with the eye specialist, her sight was found to be getting back to normal, though not yet good enough to drive.

We did a little local sightseeing:  a visit to Stanway and Stanton

followed by the equally pretty village of Buckland, near Broadway.

Helen spent a weekend at home, and Jay and Teresa both went to the dentist for the first time since we moved.

We recently discovered that the county mobile library stops in Toddington once a fortnight, so we have an alternative selection of books to look at just a few yards across the road.

We ended the month with a leaky hot water system … The problems of finding a plumber are legendary.  We have had a couple along, but they’ve both gone away scratching their head.  Meanwhile, our hot water is literally running down the drain.
