Lavender Farm and
For Roger’s birthday, we decided to repeat the visit we made last year
to the lavender farm at Snowshill, and to stop at the parish church, which we
missed last year (July 2006). We were about a month later this year, and
the lavender colours were not quite so vivid, but the field of sunflowers was
further advanced.
We parked in the village and
walked down to the church.
We returned to the car outside the Snowshill Arms. Then home, where Roger cut into his birthday
cake with anticipation.
