The trial of short mat bowling in the new village hall proved to be a success:  a couple of dozen people showed interest and a club has been formed to meet on Fridays evenings.  A loan of mats from the Pershore Bowls Centre has been arranged until funding can be arranged to buy equipment.

 

Fizzy passed his annual MoT without problems, and had a winter check.  His mileage has been very low since Jay passed her test.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Sunday 29 Roger and Teresa went to Oxford:  Teresa and Jay to attend the LMH candlelight carol service in chapel.  It turned out to be a very popular event – so busy that they could not face the press for the complimentary wine afterwards.  The secondary purpose of the visit was to bring back a car load of belongings before the end of term the following week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the end of the month Roger and Teresa had their invitations to have swine flu injections – after some deliberation Teresa decided against hers and Roger for his.
